On-arrival visas are available to nationals of almost all countries. Nationals of 12 countries (Afghanistan, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Swaziland, Syria, and Zimbabwe) and those with refugee travel documents are required to obtain a visa beforehand from Nepali embassies, consulates general or permanent missions to the UN to enter Nepal.

To avail of on-arrival visas, it is recommended that you fill out the online ‘On-arrival Visa Application’ available at https://nepaliport.immigration.gov.np/on-arrival/IO01. The application can also be filled out at kiosks available at the arrival hall.

At the end of the online visa application, there is a provision for provision for online payment of visa fees but it does not work on occasion. Payment can also be made upon arrival.
Only after payment of visa fees can you proceed to the immigration desks.
Visa fees are as follows:

• 15 Days – USD 30
• 30 Days – USD 50
• 90 Days – USD 125
